3 SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO INCOMING FILM SCORING STUDENTS
Each year the Conrad Pope Scholarship, the Christopher Young Scholarship and the Garry Schyman Scholarship (€3000 scholarship awards) are offered by Pulse College, in conjunction with these major international artists, exclusively for the Scoring for Film and Visual Media master’s program. Each are awarded to an outstanding student who has demonstrated a passion for music, shown exceptional creative talent, is professionally motivated and able to make unique contributions and achievements. Pulse College is delighted to announce the 3 recipients of the 2015/16 Scholarship awards as follows:
Si Hao Ting – ‘Conrad Pope Scholarship’
“I am extremely honoured and excited to be awarded the 2015-16 Conrad Pope Scholarship! It is definitely going to be a life-changing experience for me to go to Dublin to study at Pulse College. I am really looking forward to learning from all the great tutors as well as my peers onboard the program.” – Si Hao Ting

Louisa Trewartha – ‘Garry Schyman Scholarship’

Josh Zimmerman – ‘Christopher Young Scholarship’
“I am honoured to accept this year’s Christopher Young Scholarship! This is an amazing opportunity and I cannot wait to come to Ireland and begin strengthening and expanding my skills in such an overwhelmingly supportive environment. Masters in Scoring Scholarship Opportunities
The Christopher Young Scholarship, the Conrad Pope Scholarship, and the Garry Schyman Scholarship are three €3000 scholarship awards offered by Pulse College, in conjunction with these major international artists, exclusively for the Scoring for Film and Visual Media master’s program. All accepted applicants to the Masters program will be automatically considered for either of these scholarship awards. Christopher Young, Conrad Pope and Garry Schyman teach on the Scoring for Film and Visual Media master’s program, and there will be opportunities for professional mentoring with some of the tutors.
All applicants who apply and become accepted during Early Action period will be eligible for the scholarships.
